Sarah Augustino
Sarah was born in Arusha-Tanzania.
After working with different organizations as accountant and senior Auditor , Sarah identified the need to provide more flexible, culturally integrative and very affordable volunteer programs in Tanzania for volunteers from abroad. She has been leading GTL project since its inception, overseeing GTL operations. She played a key role in GTL scale-up strategy: reaching different regions of Tanzania and growing the GTL Network.
Sarah Augustino is a graduate of Bachelor of Finance and accounts from Mzumbe university, worked with a couple of organization before GTL establishment. Sarah loves to travel, swimming and other sports she can try her hand at.
General Manager
Noemi Peter
Among other things Noemi has played a vital role in establishment of GTL and before that has grasped vast experience in health sector technically and at managerial level as well. She has worked with private sector and international organizations such as DREAM-Italy, Marie stopes etc. In government sector she had been serving as Meru district hospital Matron over five years. Primarily she has tremendous practical experience in volunteer projects . She earned Bsc Nursing from KCMC University.
As General Manager she is responsible for managing Arusha Head office operations working closely with Regional Heads and she enjoys designing systems and processes to improve volunteer programs. Noemi enjoys reading, climbing, and sports such as handball&netball.
Senior Program Consultant-Agr
Bruno Suter
Bruno Holds Bsc. Horticulture and Arable farming from HAS University of Applied Science, also He graduated (Msc) from Wageningen University where he majored in Plant Sciences.
Bruno has great experience on the subject of internships in Tanzania as during his studies he spent four (4) months doing Internship in Tanzania at Rotiana Social Investment Ltd.
Bruno helps interns and volunteers plan their trips to Tanzania from France and Holland.
He is GTL principal advisor for agriculture internship/volunteering programs.
Chief Program Officer
Lilian Mollel
Lilian graduated from the University of Dodoma with a BE. She worked in telecommunication sector for several years. she has been a Chief Program Officer with GTL since its inception.
she is working closely with the GTL Regional Head of Programs to offer the best possible experience to our volunteers.
Outside the office, Lilian Loves reading books and travelling.
Senior Program Consultant/United States
Japhet Lupondo
Japhet has previously spent time studying Finance and Accounts down in University of Mzumbe/Bachelor degree and UMAS Boston/Master degree, he worked with a number of international private companies in Tanzania and United States. Japhet is GTL Volunteer program Consultant- ABROAD/US based, he supports GTL volunteers planning to travel from United States and has an extensive knowledge of each of our volunteer programs.
Outside of the office, Japhet loves photography, the beach and spending quality time with his friends.
Program Consultant/Abroad-ASIA based
Dr Emmanuel
Emmanuel is a medical doctor by proffesional, he has been working as a physician(MD) at Meru District Hospital and presently he is in China for a couple of years.
He realized his true passion was working towards providing quality health and education services. He joined GTL as a Volunteer Program Consultant he supports GTL volunteers planning to travel from China and he loves to work his way around numbers.
A graduate from Bugando University, holding Bachelor degree in Medicine.
Emmanuel enjoys catching up with family and friends, traveling, watching and playing sports, and reading.
Head of Moshi programs
Aman Maletho
Aman is a holder of Bsc in computer science and MBA from Makumira University, however prior to joining GTL Aman has already build interest in volunteering projects with five years for making a difference and contributing to the community He worked with various international organizations and volunteered to teach Swahili to foreigners. Aman is overseeing volunteering projects based in Kilimanjaro region.
When he is not working, he takes off on solo trips to explore new places
Head of Technology
Anania Petro
Among other thing, Anania is responsible for leading technology transformation of the GTL platform. He brings a wealth of experience in the technology sector, with more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the field. Prior to that he worked with local and international organization from novice level to managerial level. He has an intense attention to detail for building tech that is delightful to use, secure, and reliable. He is excited to be able to use his technical expertise to support volunteer’s projects across Tanzania.
He enjoys playing tabletennis & spending time with his young family.
